HYDROSIL® Paediatric Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter
The HYDROSIL® Paediatric catheters are made from the same unique hydrophilic silicone as the adult versions - soft and flexible yet sufficiently firm and resilient. This makes it the ideal material for a comfortable virtually 'friction-free' catheterisation – reducing the anxiety of learning to catheterise at a very young age. Support materials are available – encouraging young children to learn ISC right from the start.The range includes catheters with the Gripper device allowing the catheter to be held firmly, without touching the catheter surface – providing greater control with a clean, no touch technique.
Three Layer Technology
The HYDROSIL® Intermittent Catheter has a three layer construction designed to provide optimal handling characteristics, while remaining comfortable to use.
Hydrophilic Coating | 100% Silicone
The catheter’s outer surface has a hydrophilic coating on it that when wet creates a virtually friction-free catheter insertion and withdrawal. It is toxin free and environmentally friendly when disposed of.
Smooth | Tapered | Seamless Tip
The HYDROSIL® Intermittent Catheter has a smooth tapered and seamless tip designed to pass smoothly through urethra and into bladder
